LightSmyth has combined the fabrication power of modern CMOS tools and the principles of computer-generated holography to create a technology platform supporting products such as multiplexers and optical interconnects of unique power. LightSmyth has successfully developed the world’s first fully integrated CWDM multiplexer compatible with single-mode systems and having passband definition and insertion-loss figures competitive with multiplexers based on thin-film filters. LightSmyth integrated holographic filters are the only single-mode integrated filters providing true flat-top passbands without an insertion loss penalty.
